Editorial Reviews Say’s

From Publishers Weekly

Starred Review. World Fantasy Award–winner Walton (Tooth and Claw) turns the magical boarding school story inside out in this compelling coming-of-age tale. Welsh teen Morwenna was badly hurt, and her twin sister killed, when the two foiled their abusive mother's spell work. Seeking refuge with a father she barely knows in England, Mori is shunted off to a grim boarding school. Mori works a spell to find kindred souls and soon meets a welcoming group of science fiction readers, but she can feel her mother looking for her, and this time Mori won't be able to escape. Walton beautifully captures the outsider's yearning in Mori's earthy and thoughtful journal entries: "It doesn't matter. I have books, new books, and I can bear anything as long as there are books." Never deigning to transcend the genre to which it is clearly a love letter, this outstanding (and entirely teen-appropriate) tale draws its strength from a solid foundation of sense-of-wonder and what-if.

                                                            Series :Touch

High school junior Camelia thought her powers of psychometry only gave her the ability to sense the future through touch. But now she’s started to hear voices. Mean voices. Berating her, telling her how ugly she is, and that she’d be better off dead. It’s a troubling development that has Camelia terrified for her mental stability, especially since her deranged aunt with a suicidal history has just moved into the family house. More torturing, ex-boyfriend Ben, who has similar psychometric abilities, has been spending more time with their classmate Alejandra.

With the line between right and wrong fraying, Camelia turns to pottery to get a grasp on her emotions. She begins sculpting a beautiful figure skater, only to receive frightening premonitions that someone’s in danger. But who is the victim? And how can Camelia help them when she is on the brink of losing her own sanity?

Sundays Chill-ax's & Read a book day

Hello bloggers of the world !! I was doing my web surfing and was looking around for the a list of Paranormal or Horror novels. Like the best of kinda thing. One thing that I must confess to notice is and this even goes for my job at a Public Library . All reviews such as that are always non-fiction novels or novels such as James Patterson and Nora Roberts type of books! Well us Paranormal Novel readers need to come together and build one. Like for example the N.Y Times , they have a great list of novels such as Best Sellers for books like: The help and the Girl with the dragon tattoo. Please don't misunderstood what I am trying to express , they are GREAT books. But none of them are for me. I want a Paranormal Best sellers list!! Is that so much to ask for ? I will provide you with a l...

Apocalyptic Sunday Book News

It is Sunday again and I am 3 seconds to freaking out cause I really don't understand were exactly the weekends go? Amanda Ashley has a novel that is coming out in June this summer that caught my eye. A Vampire’s Kiss. A Woman’s Surrender. Tall, dark, mysterious—and with a faint scar on his cheek that only makes him more gorgeous—Kaiden Thorne is one schoolgirl obsession Skylynn never forgot. Now, returning to her childhood home after eight years, she can’t believe her reclusive neighbor is still living across the street—and hotter than ever. Skylynn doesn’t know how Kaiden manages to stay so young, virile, and impossibly attractive. But she knows she wants him…even if he harbors a fearful secret he refuses to tell her. When Kaiden sees the beautiful young woman Skylynn has become, he can no longer control the bloodlust that is his true nature. Once he pulls Skylynn into his arms, presses his lips against hers—and accidentally draws blood—he longs for more. Only she possesses ...

Johnny

I have been a fan of Johnny Depp since I can remember! The first time I layed my brown eyes on the famous and very talented star Mr.Depp in Nightmare on Elm st. When he was Nancy's boyfriend who lived up the scary block on Elm st. Poor guy got sucked in to his mattress ,when having a nightmare . We all remember that Famous seen in the movie. Who wasn't a Freddy fan back in the 80's. Plus the all so famous episode 21 Jump St. With another famous actor  Holly Berry .  You know there going to be coming out with the Movie this year. But sadly I don't get why Johnny isn't playing his role. Sorry that just ruins it for me! I most likely will not go out of my way to see this in theaters. But the handsome actor from Nicholes Sparks famous Title Dear John ,Actor Channing Tatum . Will also be in 21 Jump st . Well you know I wouldnt mind gazing in to that sexy specimen of a man! But we want Johnny. According to msnbc.com Johnny will be in it ,but he will be a little different...
